Autumn

In this post I will talk about this season we are headed towards.

I was wondering what I was going to talk about today since it was just an ordinary daylie blogpost on Tuesday and then I as I was scrolling through my Instragram feed and was seeing autumnposts. How to feel and look good when the weather is going colder and wetter? That is the question I hope I can answer for you, or maybe not answer for you, but inpire you.

If you are living somewhere that is quite cold in autumn and that it’s often rain, then I understand that you think it’s impossible to look and feel good not just during autumn, but during winter also. And most of us only dress up during spring and summer, and during autumn and winter it’s only when we have to because it’s either to cold, to rainy, to windy, to snowy. All this is just bullshit.

Here where I live it can get down to -30 degrees celcius during the coldest part of winter, and most of us would rather put on our wamest, cosiest pants and sweather and then feel bad about our looks, but then say that it matters more to be warm rather then look and feel good. But what if you can do both?

My outfit for today is beautiful underwear, thick black anclesocks, black thermo thights, a white sweather and a black dress over the sweather, I then use a belly belt and a read big cashmerescarf that I also can use as a shawl to get warmer if I am somewhere that I can’t sit under a blanket, such as at work, at school or at a gathering of somesort. And get yourself some boots that is going to keep you warm, dry and that looks good on you. If that is flats, then you wear flats. I’m a high heels kind of gal.

For some of you it can be jeans instead of a skirt or a dress, for some of you it will be a hat that keeps your ears warm. Don’t be afraid to mix and tricks with the clothes that you allready have. And if you feel that you need the perfect woolcoat to look and feel fabulous and you can’t afford a new one, go to second hand store, or ask on facebook if anyone have one in your size that you can buy from them.

That’s it for today! Click the like button and share on facebook, instagram, twitter or on any place on social media where you are.

Love Emilie
