Hello everyone, and welcome to my second post in the book sunday category! And I will start with not one but three books. It’s from a bookseries called the Chase Muses. The books is in the category historic romance.
Some would say this post and books are inappropriate and should be private. I disagree, so I will write about them nevertheless.
Book one is called To Catch a Rogue and the story is set in London and is about the Chase sisters that all have names after the antiquitys muses. In this book Calliope is the main character and she finds herself in drama, theft and love. She is the oldest one of the Chase sisters and when valuable treasures from the antiquity are going missing, she made a promise that she, two of her sisters and some girlfriends are going to find out who this thief is, who is called the lily thief since the thief is leaving behinde one lily. Her parents was more concerned with teach them about the antiqiuty and how important the history is, then about dancing and all that. When she lays her eyes on Cameron de Vere, she finds that her life the way she knows it is about to change, and she is not very sure she want it.
In book two, which is called To Deceive a Duke we meet with two of the Chase sisters again. This time it’s mostly about Clio and her restlessness. Now they are in Sicily and she hopes to get a pause from her thoughts about the duke. She soon enough finds out that that is not as easy as she thinks. And she finds herself soon in both danger, passion and love.
To Kiss a Count is book three and the last one. This is about Thalia, she finds herself back in England. She is on her way to Bath with her sister Calliope. She is constantly thinking about the Italian Count di Fabrizzi. And she is sick and tired of everyone trying to protect her and keep her out of everything. So when she lays her eyes on Count di Fabrizzi in Bath, she is determind to find adventure no matter what.
All three books do have sex in them. Passionately sex, and it’s hot! So if you are of those who don’t want to here, read or talk about sex, then you don’t want to read these books.

Amanda McCabe is the author who has written this triology, and much more. She writes historical romance books, and that is books for someone like me who loves history and dirty books (shhh, don’t tell anyone). I will add some links to her website, and to the books. I have no idea if they will work anywhere else in the world. But hey, we don’t find that out unless we try.
Love Emilie ❤
