Three months left…

Hello everyone. Today I will talk about something. Haha. I am not quite sure what this post will end up to be about. But I just realised that it is only three months left of this year. And that means that christmas is right around the corner! I looooooove christmas, and I do wonder what this years christmas will look like, I do know that it will be amazing nevertheless.

Last year we spent christmas at Kim Oves parents house, with them and his brothers and his nephew and niece. We spent most days there since our open fireplace gave like zero warmth and it was like -20*C outside, so we had like 16*C inside and that is not very comfortable to live in. Oh and we usually get lots of snow. It is so magical to live here during december and christmas. And to know that it is only 4 sundays left until first advent sunday and all my santa clauses can move in again. All the purple and glitter while we waint ’til it’s time to change the purple with red and/or green, silver, gold, glitter, white. Aaah. And the christmasprestens are almost done, so in december I can use the money on good food, my hair and maybe even get some textiles to make a new christmasdress. Or maybe I will try redesign this year and find something from a second hand store. Hmm. I will have to think about it.

Anyway, for some people christmas is an devastating time or a sad one, it could be a lonely one. So my advice for everyone is to check up on your moms aunt who are all alone, your friend who will be without the kids this year, your colleague who just lost his wife. Please do check up on them. Don’t get to the stage where you are so busy that you don’t have time to see other people, see behind their walls. This time we are approaching is maybe a very joyful time for you, but for your neighbor it may be the hardest time of year for them. Include them, even if it only means to invite them for coffee.

And if you only know realise you never got done the things you had planned this year, like painting the bedroome, write that blogpost, get that dress. You never reach your weight goal, or you didn’t keep your yogapromise. Don’t just let it go and think that you will start again january 1. 2021. Do it now! Show up for yourself now, don’t wait. Start living now and not tomorrow! We never know if tomorrow will be there. I myself do try to live each day with meaning. Somedays it’s the food that is the most meaningfull that day, yesterday it was my favorite high heels and the fact that we had beautiful autumn weather. Somedays it’s my redlipstick. You get my point. The meaningfull and gratefull things in your life don’t have be big things. It can be that you have that smartphone so you can show people from instagram how beautiful that sunset was, it can be your dog, your bed, your significant other, your kids, mother, father.
