Hi everyone and welcome to a new booksunday! It’s been awhile since last time we had a booksunday. I was actually thinking of skipping todays booksunday. But here I am!
Today’s book is called “The Secret Hours” or “The Forgotten Deverill”. This is actually the fourth book in a series called “The Deverill Chronicles” and what’s interesting with this book is that you don’t have to have read the first three books to have pleasure from it. I did read it before I bought the other three books and started to read them.

So, this book is written by Santa Montefiore and was published in 2019 and is about a women called Faye who has lost her mother and has to deal with the testament and she has to go on a journey and learns so much about her mother, herself, her family, love and sacrifices. And at what length you would go to for your children.
It’s a book about how difficult it was to be outside of the norm in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, how you was shunned if you got pregnant outside of wedlock and how love can save you. How one mistake can change your hole life. It’s also a book of how strong and powerfull women can be when they need to. How women have at all times always managed to survive and always will. How they can see things from a different perspective than men and how that have affected them and their station in life and society.
I highly recommend this book and I do hope you will find it as interesting as I did.
That’s it for this booksunday. See you soon.
Love Emilie ❤
