Hello everyone. Been awhile since I last wrote to you.

So today is as you may know booksunday and I have thinking and wondering which book I was going to pick out for todays post. I did land on one book that I have read once before and started again yesterday. Some of you may have seen the HBO series called A Discovery of Witches just as I have. I actually binge watched all episodes of season two last weekend.

For those of you who don’t know this, the tv- series is actually from three books written by Deborah Harkness and is a triology. The first book is called A Discovery of Witches, book two is called Shadow of the Night and book three is called The Book of Life. I have yet to read book three, but I have it so it will be read hopefully before summer.

The first book is about a woman named Diana Bishop who is a witch and is a direct decendent of Bridget Bishop who got sentenced to death in Salmen during the years of witchhunt. Diana is one of few witches who tries to deny her powers and live a normal life. And it workes well for her until she gets a hold on an old book that had been gone for centuries and she finds herself fleeing from other witches, vampires and deamons with the help of a vampire.

I highly recomend to read and watch the series if you are like me who likes witches, deamons, vampires, werewolves and other creatures. The triology is called All Souls.
