Word of the year!

Hello! It’s Tuesday night and I am laying in bed wondering what topics I should write about today. I have actually been wondering about it for days. And I am still not sure what this post will be about. Maybe a bit of everything.

The first thing I will start with is to say that I have set a goal and a word for this year. It’s the same word. And it is consistently. I really need to work on beeing more consistently with my schoolwork and my health.

After following Tonya Leigh with her podcast that was called French Kiss Life and is now called School of Selfimage and one of her programs called Modern Day Icon I have realised that New Years resolutions really don’t work for me and probably most of you too (even if you don’t want to admit it) so I adopted what she does and choose a word of the year and a goal. The thing here is that you are simply going to give it a rest and let the word come to you. This way you will know that it is your word of the year. I for one knows this first hand. I was thinking for weeks that my word would be Love, and then suddenly it dawned on me that it was not my word.

Then my word just came to me. And when I was going to set my goal for year I went through everything I want to achive at somepoint and picked my main goal from the list that I thought would be the most important goal for me this year and it was consistenly. That is somewhat very wide and I needed to narrow it down to what aspects I needed to work on. Therefor I am down to stop my procrastination with my schoolwork.

I have also started my journey to be even healthier. With that said, the journey started back in December when I removed my IUD (and no, we are not trying to get pregnant) and up until this weekend I didn’t feel any different. However, I have a story that gave me a boost from this weekend. Here it is: on friday I got my package I ordered a week before that with some new bras. One of them was so tight around my body that was going to send it back. The others fit perfectly. On sunday I got my first real periode after removing the IUD. After I took a shower I was going to put on one of the bras that did fit, but now it was suddenly a bit bigger. Therefore in my mind it was clever of me to try the one that was to tight, and now it fits! It’s really amazing what could happend in just two days!

I have also joined the gym and started my training. I have decided that I will start small and work my way up to not loose motivation before I even start. So far so good!

And that’s it for today!

Love Emilie ❤
