Self- care

Hello everyone.

Since I have been in a readingmode for the last couple of weeks, and I consider it one of my self-care routine’s I will use today’s post about self-care.

Self-care could be very different for each and every one us. For me it’s when I read, workout, sew, embroidery, go for walks outside, fix my nails, take ekstra long showers, cuddling with Kim Ove, being alone, use facemask, being social with friends and family.

It all depends on my mood and how I am getting my energy back. Sometimes I would lay in bed in comfy clothes reading a good book all alone, and other times I need to be social.

So if you are the type of person who gets energy from sitting home one the couch binge- watching your favorite tv-show that is okey. If you get more energy by being social with friends and family then be with friends and family. Right now it is difficult meeting in person, but we all have our friends and family just a phonecall away. There is zoom, teams, instagram, facebook, snapchat and what not to keep in touch. Use them!

For those of you who loves to get dressed and full glam makeup, do it! It may seem like there is no point in doing it since we are all at home, but you would feel so much better if you do.

If you like to take a long hot bath with lit candles and wine, then do it as often as you want and can.

All in all! Do the things you know will fuel your energy and give you courage to face everyday difficulties. Even if it is hard, you can always find a way to do it if you really want to do it.
